T Port Three Way Plug Valve Working Principle
The plug inside the valve body has a through T-shaped passage. By rotating the handle or actuator 90 degrees, the T bore aligns with three valve ports to form different flow modes:
1. Diverting: One inlet medium splits and flows out from two outlets at the same time;
2. Mixing: Two incoming media converge into one outlet for blending;
3. Independent switching: Connect any two ports while cutting off the third passage.
4. Full straight-through bore brings minimal flow resistance and low pressure loss, with no dead space to avoid medium sedimentation.
